School Counselor Email Phone: 920-788-7600 Hello, My name is Tracy Schmidt and I've been the school counselor at LCIMS since 2003. Every day is different and definitely an adventure at the middle school. I have many responsibilities as the school counselor including: -
I meet with students individually and in small groups to discuss students' concerns -
I teach a 5th grade guidance class to develop our students' social and emotional skills -
I provide developmental guidance in the classrooms monthly -
I am an Advisor for Builders Club and the Sources of Strength Team -
I assist with CAMP (adult mentoring program) and Mustang Mentors (high school mentoring program) I'm originally from Appleton and attended Fox Valley Lutheran High School. I went on to get a bachelors degree from UW-Platteville and my Masters in Counseling Education from UW-Oshkosh. I live in Greenville with my husband and 3 amazing daughters. I played volleyball and basketball both in high school and college and continue to stay active. I love to read, paint furniture, enjoy the outdoors, and play games. When I'm not at school, you will find me playing with Dex, the therapy dog, my lovable and large Labradoodle (who thinks he is a lap dog).
