The mission of the LCASD ConnectED Community is to strengthen partnerships by educating our community members about the school district’s educational programming and operations through an eight-month series of breakfast gatherings. In August 2024, district stakeholders were invited to join: families, residents, local businesses, government leaders, clergy, civic organizations, taxpayers, realtors, and more. It is a cliché but it is also true: strong schools make strong communities. The reverse is also true: strong community partnerships are needed to make strong schools.

Testimonials
"As a parent with an upcoming student of the district, this experience has been very enlightening as far as the background and purpose of the district's blueprint. It has added to the confidence I have in sending my child to LCASD." "This program has been very informative and my only regret is not knowing this information before, when my kids were younger." "Learning more about our district as a whole, while meeting my neighbors and other community members feels so rewarding. There is something positive about learning in a new area with this cohort."
