Pupil Services
The Pupil Services disciplines of school counseling, school nursing, and school psychology are essential to the success of children in the Little Chute Area School District. Professionals trained in these disciplines provide a bridge between learning and mental, physical, emotional, and social health factors that determine educational achievement and life success. These pupil service providers use a variety of strategies to help meet our children's needs that include providing direct service to students, staff members, families, and acting as liaisons between classroom teachers, families, community agencies, and neighborhoods.
The Pupil Services staff collaborates with each other on a regular basis to ensure that there is a wide range of programs available for students and families. Pupil Services staff provide individual and group intervention for students; implement prevent programs for students; collaborate with parents and families; provide consultation to teachers; and work closely with community based agencies. It is the goal of the Pupil Services department to meet the emotional, social, and behavioral needs of each child.
