The K-12 Music Program at Little Chute aims to be challenging, coherent, and vast in its musical offerings to both casual music lovers as well as advanced musicians with goals of music education beyond the secondary level.
The concert band courses are offered to 6-12 grade students. Jazz band is an extracurricular ensemble available to 7-12 grade students. There is also an auditioned Wind Ensemble for 9-12 grades students looking for advanced music.
Chorus classes are offered to students in grades 5-12. LC Chamber Singers is an auditioned mixed ensemble for vocalists in 9-12th grade for advanced singers. There is also an extra-curricular ensemble for HS vocalists titled LC Chorus.
General Music courses are required of students in grades 6-8. Throughout these courses, students have the opportunity to explore creating their own digital music, composing, playing piano, and ukulele. Music Theory 1 and Music Theory 2 are offered alternating years to students in grades 9-12.
