There are many reasons to support a well-rounded art education for your student artist. In Little Chute Area School District we believe that Arts Education can and does benefit EVERY student. It is not a place reserved for "artsy kids". Both right and left brained students see growth and improvement spill over in other facets of life. Arts Education improves our physical and mental health. It can provide a viable post high school career pathway for many students. Lastly, it fosters and builds 21st century skills that are critical and transferable, like creative problem solving and collaboration. It helps students learn about diversity, differing viewpoints, tolerance and empathy. And lastly Arts Education helps students develop the capacity to see an idea through from beginning to end. They become "finishers".
