Our goal is to create students who are lifelong learners. Giving back to the community through Service Learning gives students the chance to put their classroom skills into action. Service shows that a person is committed to working hard and working for the common good. 21st century skills demand that students have a vision for their lives and that they want to make a positive impact on society. Our goal is to help them build that vision.
The Flex Academy Service Learning requirement helps equip students with the necessary skills and abilities for career and educational advancement as well as motivates students to take an active role as leaders in their communities.
Flex Academy understands that community service opportunities are available in many forms such as: direct, indirect, advocacy and research.
