The Flex Academy is a tuition-free public charter school serving the Fox Cities area. Our public school serves students in grades K-8 using an innovative blended approach with a focus on personalized learning, Health and Wellness education, and Service Learning. We incorporate a digital curriculum and a minimum of two face-to-face days (at Flex). State-certified teachers will collaboratively work side-by-side with students and parents to engage in a blended academic experience from various locations, including home, within the community, and at school.
Flexible Environment and Schedule
Flex Academy parents serve as Learner Coaches for their children's day-to-day activities. A Learner Coach is an adult in your child's life (typically a parent) that serves as a pivotal piece in their education. This role requires a time commitment to working one-on-one with students while they are learning at home. Teachers organize and deliver instructional content, administer assessments and provide enrichment during days students are at the Flex Academy. Also, teachers provide goals, resources, and an online curriculum for learn at home days.
The Flex Academy allows families more flexibility in their schedules. This flexibility allows for YMCA, art, music, and individual interest programming during “learn at home days”. The Flex Academy staff works with each family to ensure a successful schedule and academic success.
