Thank you for visiting our Little Chute Intermediate/Middle School Webpage to learn more about our school. At Little Chute Intermediate/Middle School, we have approximately 430 students in Grades 5-8. We have a 5/6 Intermediate School and a 7/8 Middle School in the same building.
Our 5th and 6th grade students will have blocks of time for their Reading/Writing, Math, Science and Social Studies. Our 5th grade students will have term encore classes in Art, Music, Computer and Wellness. 5th grade also has Phy Ed every other day opposite of Guidance for half the year and Genius Hour the other half of the year. Sixth grade students have term encore classes of Art, Music, Project Lead the Way and Genius Hour. They also have Phy Ed every other day opposite of Computer for half the year and Wellness for the other half of the year.
The schedule for 7th and 8th grade includes longer blocks of time for ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies. All 7th grade students have term encore classes in Art, Spanish, Music and Project Lead the Way with Phy Ed every other day opposite of a Health class. The 8th grade students who are not taking Spanish as an elective will have a rotation of Music, Art, Tech Ed and Computers and Coding with Phy Ed every other day opposite of a Health/ACP course.
We are very proud of our school and all it has to offer. We have state of the art facilities, a terrific and caring staff, great parent and community support, and wonderful students to work with. We are committed to preparing our students for the 21st Century and to help them develop into respectful and successful young adults.
