The Little Chute Chess Club seeks to build and sustain an open and inclusive community of students to share, grow, and learn in their hobby and interest in chess. Through the study of chess, we develop critical and strategic thinking skills that teach students how to generate, communicate, and execute creative and complex ideas. We meet multiple times each week to learn, play, and grow in our understanding of the game and in our community together. We engage in multiple tournaments each year that are open to the student body and are seeking to engage in more interscholastic competitions in the future.
