KSCADE Courses

The Mission of the KSCADE (K-12 Schools/College Alliance for Distance Education) is to enhance learner access among schools and colleges in East Central Wisconsin. This is possible through the development of cost-effective, interconnected telecommunication technology. LCHS' KSCADE lab is connected to the library, located across from the high school office.

Intro to Criminal Justice
Intro to Criminal Justice is an introductory course for exploration of criminal justice careers. The course focuses on the roles of police, prosecution, and courts and corrections. With completion of this course students will have a better understanding from a historical perspective of how the criminal justice process was, and is carried out in the US today.

Auto Collision
Preventive maintenance, suspension systems, tires, wheel alignment, brakes, air conditioning, and engine diagnosis fundamentals are all learning chapters in this course. This course also requires four on campus labs.

Fashion Illustration
Drawing techniques, drawing supplies, fashion figure proportions, fashion face, movement in figures, clothing styles, rendering techniques, render fabrics, illustration design, drawing accessories, presentation drawing, and sources of inspiration are all parts of this Fox Valley Course.

Intro to Communication with the Deaf
This course provides a foundation of both sign language skills and finger spelling skills to facilitate communication with the hearing impaired. Pertinent issues are discussed to broaden an understanding of the hearing impaired, and bring deaf awareness to light.
