The Little Chute Area School District focuses its strengths and resources on developing the individual talents and skills of students within the context of cooperation. The instructional methods used within our schools prepare students to live in a rapidly changing world - characterized by interdependence, pluralism, and conflict. Experience-based, contextual teaching strategies and learning situations facilitate education in the classroom. Students are assessed in a relevant manner on skills offered and demonstrated. Years of joining together with classmates, community members of all ages, and educational professionals to achieve our mission give students the cooperative and individual skills to have a high quality of life as an adult. Students are then prepared to become responsible and productive members of a global society, ultimately responsible for their own destiny and for building a better world for all.

Little Chute Area Schools are committed to providing every student with opportunities to develop the knowledge, skills and character necessary to become contributing members of a diverse, changing technological world. The strength of this district has always been its teachers, administrators and support staff, who provide our children with the quality education they deserve. Little Chute Area Schools are dedicated to fostering a community of learners where we meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of all students.

I encourage parents and community members to learn more about our schools and ask that you take advantage of the many opportunities to participate in the process of educating the youth of Little Chute. Schools that have parental involvement and community participation produce students that thrive and excel. Success for both students and schools relies upon the involvement of not only parents but from the community as well.

The one factor that is most important in reaching our goal is: TEAMWORK! To borrow an old, but very appropriate, quote from Henry Ford, "Coming together is beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success." I believe at the heart of the Little Chute Area School District should be a very clear focus on students' academic achievement and potential. We are proud to serve the students and parents of this community with a quality educational opportunity. Therefore, as Superintendent I ask for your continued support and involvement in providing a learning environment that prepares our students to meet the challenges and opportunities of an ever changing world.

Please accept my best wishes for a happy and successful school year and thank you for the opportunity to serve the Little Chute community as we work together to foster a community of learners.
